Constant Crashing Splitter, Gig in Two Days, SOS!
I am having what appears to be a beginner's problem after downloading audiobus3 and midiflow splitter, I am finding that splitter crashes regularly, about every 15-20 minutes. It will crash during preset load, and when I open splitter, the split is not the one I had programmed, and appears to have reset or otherwise been changed. Either that, or it will not work at all, forcing reboot. I am using an iPad Pro, plenty of processing power. I am having no stuttering audio problem, (so latency not a problem?) but radical instability, forcing me to reboot to the iPad.
I have a live gig in two days, and am anxious about rebooting the iPad during performance. The splits and layers are not overly complex or multiple. I must be doing something wrong at the basic level. I have tried swapping camera cables. I have been working with synthesizer apps including Poison, bs-16i, Neo-Soul Keys, and Galileo 2. So far I cannot find any pattern to when the crash will occur. I am using a Nektar Impact GX-49 midi keyboard. Please help save the rock.

IK Multimedia’s Syntronik iOS Audio Unit Extension Bug?
I’m using Syntronik on iPad Mini 4 and iPhone 7 Plus (both on latest iOS). iConnectAudio4+ is being used as an audio interface (48,000kHz/16bit). Another app sends MIDI to the AUM Destination port and into the AU of Syntronik.
Syntronik in stand-alone mode produces notes just fine. But...When in AU mode via either AUDIOBUS 3 or AUM it plays back at a pitch either a 1/2 or full tone higher than the actual pitch. I need to use Syntronik as an AU so this really blows.
I thought it must be a samplerate issue. Can’t change the samplerate in any of the related apps - non-existent in Syntronik and AB3. Have checked every setting without luck. AUM’s sample
Rate is locked at 48,000kHz and even the MIDI transpose button in AUM produces sketchy results.
How do I fix this? I’m not sure if it’s IK, Apple, iConnectivity, AB3 or AUM’s problem...or maybe just my own problem 
all other AUs work properly.

Beathawk Organ Tonewheel alternative
My Casio CT-X5000 keyboard does not have a tonewheel…therefore I do not know how to control the pseudo-Leslie effect on the Beathawk organ packs when using Beathawk on my iPad played by the Casio. Any suggestions how I could map a sustain pedal or maybe an expression pedal to control the Leslie effect on Beathawk organ packs? I do not know what midi cc it is that controls it, nor what function/parameter on Beathawk… I have asked in several forums and Facebook groups, also inquired with UVI ...

Beat time app broken again
I love this app and never know who to contact when it needs a fix, I tried support but get a offline site..so in beat time after you find your video and hit the button to convert the vid and load in into beat time it pulls up a error reading file msg...

Midiflow Splitter - I’ve created two separated zones but I still hearing both synths together
Hi!
I’m using Juno Di keyboard as MIDI input. Then I’m using two synth Apps and splitting keyboard in two zones with MF Splitter. The problem is I still hearing both synths in both zones, there is not splitting nothing.
I attach screenshot of the setting. Please, tell me if I doing something wrong.

Loop problem BM3
This should be simple but..... I have a breakbeat sample whose BPM is 120. When triggering as a loop on the pad view it loops perfectly. When I add it to the song view the sample extends just beyond one bar so the loop is cut off early. I've tried timestretch etc but nothing appears to resolve the issue. Any tips?
It must be something simple but its driving me loopy :-)

Seriously craving a hardware synth. Think it’s between - MiniBrute, microbrute, minilogue, Moog mother 32. Basically around the £500 quid range. Any good advice would be grateful, I just can’t make mind up.
I also need a lowdown on connecting chosen hardware to my iPad for recording, what cabling & audio interface do I need (I’m a complete rookie when it comes to hardware).
As I said watched endless vids & and read a few threads on this forum regarding above.

Patterning MIDI learn issue -- possible to force it to listen on virtual port?
Hello Audiobus Forum! This is my first post. I've learned so much from this site over the last year and would appreciate any help anyone can offer me here.
I've just remapped my Novation Launch Control using MidiFlow to be an extraordinary music making machine! I devoted one of its templates (using two MIDI channels via MidiFlow's rerouting magic) entirely to Patterning.
However, when I use Patterning's MIDI learn feature, it will sometimes "listen" on its virtual port and other times it will listen directly to the Launch Control. This makes my remappings/reroutings a total mess.
Is there a way to block my controller from sending messages to Patterning so that Patterning will only listen on its virtual port? Or perhaps is there a workaround someone is familiar with that allows for Patterning to only receive on its virtual port?
This is especially troubling because, even if I did get the MIDI learn mappings correctly assigned, there is always the chance that in a live performance Patterning may just start listening to my controller's messages, so the only solution I think is to securely block my controller's MIDI messages from communicating directly with Patterning.
Again, appreciate this forum so much and look forward to any ideas anyone has!

Question on iPad screenshots.
If i capture a screenshot on my iPad screen of a app etc using the power and home button. I then choose to insert it into a discussion I get the message back that the file is to large so have to use Affinity Photo to reduce the size first. Is there a way to reduce the screenshot size that the iPad takes to get around this long process? What the max thumbnail size for the forum?

Real world performance difference between iPad 6th gen and 2017 Pro 10.5
I am considering bumping my rig up to a 10.5 Pro from my 2 month old iPad 2018. Has anyone compared these two on real world music applications? The benches are super close on single core, but of course Multi Core is quite a disparity. Can we even make use of Multicore processing in AUM or BM3 or Quantiloop? It will be a pretty penny to make the jump as I refuse to buy used, and ill be losing 100 bucks or so selling the 2018 iPad.

Cubasis and Discrete Effects Application
In the past my use of effects has been very limited, but as I continue I find I can apply more effects with understanding. I just want confirmation that in Cubasis when one applies an onboard effect it is applied to all tracks in the same setting. Switch the setting of Ultramaximizer, for example, on one track and it changes a setting you might have made on another track. Is this correct? And, if so, then freezing the track with the effect is the only way to get different settings applied to different tracks from the same effect? lastly, what about external effects, like Kleverb. Do they apply discretely for each instance used?

hardware requirements for iPad
Hi. I've own an iPad Pro 2015 model, using mostly for ForScore. Considering using it now for live synth playing. What hardware do you recommend? I have a Nord A1 synth which likely has USB. Apart from the headphone jack how do I get the audio out of the iPad synths into my PA speakers?

i want to use Mobile Music Squencer in my live stages. I have got MIDI Foot Controoler on Ipad, it works fine ( IK Multimedia Blueboard). How can ı control A -B-C-D-E buttons "Audio Chord Assist" for MIDI ? What is CC# parameter or Control change, Program change maps ?

How do I use Network MIDI as an input in AB3?
There used to be a "Network Session" that would show up as an input from time to time, often not when needed and for no specific reason would it work or not. But now, it never shows up at all. How do I use Network MIDI as an input in AB3 when it doesn't show up in the list in MIDI inputs?
So far the only way I've figured out is to use the IAA version of an app instead of the AU, since I can't get the AU versions to accept Network MIDI in AB3.

Novation Launch Control (not XL) MIDI problems
anybody got one of these bad boys? I had it up and running with Quantiloop and then tried to change patterns while the loops were playing, the app crashed and now my launch control is not being recognized by iOS at all. It lights up when I plug it in but my ipad is not picking it up as a MIDI controller (tried BM3 and Quantiloop, nothing)
I even went and made a user template in the Novation Launch Control Editor, updated the LC to the newest firmware, etc etc but Im still stuck lookin a fool with a useless brand new midi controller. Any diagnosis?
